About Barry Turner Photography

To capture an image reflecting the beauty of a tiger in the wild is not a possibility for most of us and will soon be an impossibility for all of us.

16000 animals are now in danger of extinction, with Gorillas, Orang-Utans and Tigers at the top of the list. Many creatures present on our planet 100 years ago, are now extinct.

Wildlife Parks are the only places many people, including new generations, can now see exotic creatures, learn more about them and discover how they are faring in the wild. Soon, Parks will be the only places to see such animals.

The majority of the images of exotic and endangered animals on this website are of captive animals in wildlife parks. Most of them are part of important breeding programs.

Images of endangered but captive animals can still portray their natural beauty. A Tiger is a Tiger is a Tiger.
